At West Haven Academy of Karate - Seguin, our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and exciting martial arts program for students of all ages and abilities. Respect, discipline, courage, and perseverance are all part of our curriculum.
Kyo Sa Nim Jon De La Garza is an internationally certified instructor in Tang Soo Do. He participates in advanced training in order to increase his skills and is currently working toward the honor of Master. He has a sincere interest in the self-improvement of his students and wants to help each of them reach their goals. He is often heard saying "Perfect practice makes perfect!" and "This is a BLACK BELT school!!" His patience, compassion and teaching styles make it easy for anyone to learn. Kyo Sa Niim De La Garza encourages his students to participate in educational clinics and tournaments to test their skills. He challenges his students to work diligently in order to achieve their goals.
Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association, Inc. An organization founded by Grandmaster Charles J. Ferraro. The Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan system is a classical martial art concerned with scientific and martial theory, form and aesthetics. Tang Soo Do is a composite style influenced by the Northern Chinese arts, the Southern Chinese arts, and the Okinawan discipline of Karate.
